REMEMBERING JOHN ANDRETTI
INTRODUCTION
After Dad passed, I began writing down various summaries of his career on a year-by-year basis. These are all stories he’s told me, people that were around the races told me, or from my own personal experience with that time frame in Dad’s life. Often these stories came out of nowhere with Dad, traveling up and down the road to and from races or school, so I wanted to make sure to write them all down as quickly as they were still fresh in my mind. I really wanted to have them for family records so generations down the line could read stories about Dad. One day, it was suggested to me that I should publish these through our newsletter and so we have been periodically releasing them in between races. I thought it would be good to also put them on the website. So, for your enjoyment they have been published here!
